Reservations, Rates and Cancellation

How can I check if you have rooms available?

If rooms are available you will be able to book them immediately at our website. Please check the dates carefully before payment as we may not be able to change the booking at a later date.

I have already paid a 10% deposit with Lonely Planet but that was for the bamboo beach hut, I was wondering if I could change that booking to the Wooden Hut instead please?

Please check your confirmation email from your booking agent and log in to change or cancel your booking.

We are a group of 4 traveling together, can we have 2 wooden beach huts next to each other?

If renting more than one of the same type of room we always endeavor to provide adjacent accommodation whenever possible.

If I wish to stay longer than my original booking, can I extend my stay while I am at Seaside Cottages?

You must inform us as soon as possible if you wish to extend your stay. If we have rooms available we will reserve them for you and full payment will be required in advance.

We also have 2 small children. Would it be possible for all 4 to stay in the bungalow?

Only 2 persons are allowed per room. This also applies to any children who will accompany you. If they are not old enough to stay in their own room or with one adult then you will not be able to stay at Seaside Cottages. Our rooms are not suitable for babies or any children under 5 years old.

I am traveling with my dog/cat will I be able to keep the animal in the room or outside?

Seaside Cottages is not suitable for pets as we have dogs and cats here of our own that will not tolerate other animals.

Accommodation and facilities

What is the difference between the beach cottages and beach huts?

Please read the front page of our website where you will find full details of all our accommodation.

Are there showers and toilets inside the rooms?

Only the 2 round cottages have en-suite facilities all other accommodation has toilets and showers nearby in another building.

Is there hot water in the showers?

Only cold water is available in all units. Most people do not have a problem with that and is quite normal in such a hot climate.

Do you offer camping?

Camping in a double or single person tent is available. Please go to our reservation form to check rates and availability.

If we bring our own tent do we have access to toilets and shower?

No problem, you can use all our facilities, you only need to bring your own bedding as this will not be provided.

Is it safe to camp around the area?

Security is not a major problem here and it is very safe on site. There are always members of staff living on the premises 24 hours/day who can help in the unlikely event of any incident.

Do you have backpack storage or lockers?

We have a secure luggage room which is locked where you can store your baggage. We also have a safe area for storage of any valuables if required.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Virtually any dish on our menu can be provided as a vegetarian option. We substitute meat and fish with soya products and/or extra vegetables.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All rooms are Non-Smoking.

Transport and how to get here

How do I recognize the driver at the airport?

Our driver will display your name on a card as you leave the arrivals building at the airport.

Can I get a transfer to the airport very early in the morning of check out?

We can arrange transport to pick you up from here at any time. If you are leaving very early in the morning we only ask that you settle any outstanding bill and return the key the previous evening.

Can I hire a scooter or bicycle nearby?

There are some scooters for hire further along the beach at 300 Baht/24 hour period. You must hold an International Driving Permit in addition to your driving license which permits you to drive a 125cc motorbike. You will be able to rent a scooter without a license but please note that you will not be insured.
